iPhone 8 is expected to arrive with many new features. The rumors about the iPhone 8 are spreading like fire on the internet. According to the reports from Fast Company, the upcoming iPhone 8 flagship- dubbed the iPhone X might be the first iPhone ever in Apple’s history to cost over $1,000. It is worth to note that the most expensive iPhone right now that is iPhone 7 Plus 256GB version is sold at $969 in the US. On the other hand, iPhone 8 is expected to sport some innovative features so we could assume that iPhone 8 is going to be priced over $1000. Apple is supposed to launch three new iPhones later this year- the iPhone 8 and the other two might be iPhone 7S and iPhone 7S Plus. In iPhone 8, the company will shift from an LCD panel to an OLED panel and will sport an edge-to-edge 5.8 inch OLED screen. According to Fast company, the OLED screen acquisition is going to be expensive than standard LCD, costing twice as much. iPhone 8 is also expected to feature new 10-nanometer A11 Fusion chipset, which again isn’t going to add to the flagship smartphone’s price, knocking it past the US $1000 mark.
