Qualcomm Snapdragon 1000, the future of ARM computers with Windows 10
To alleviate the disadvantages that appeared in the first generation of Windows 10 computers at ARM, the chip manufacturer, of course, Qualcomm is working on a very important development for the future of these products, the Snapdragon 1000, codenamed SDM1000. Over the past few weeks, there have been several leaks regarding this new processor, which aims to enhance the acceptance of these “Always Connected PCs” in coming months. They will be part of the “heart” of the new generation of ARM equipment with Windows 10, and as far as we know, this new 12W processor would come with LPDDR4X RAM of up to 16GB and two 128 GB UFS 2.1 modules. With all this is intended that these teams can compete for face to face with the current Intel or AMD, so they will have to run without any problems all kinds of applications, both native UWP, such as Win32, the latter, one of the big problems before those faced by ARM computers with Windows 10, “Always Connected PCs” today.
