Now Microsoft is readying for another major Windows 10 update that was about to hit sometime this month. The fall creator update is expected to bring some design enhancements and a lot of under-the-hood improvements. It’s said that the upcoming Fall Creators update will offer a better user experience. But, in the run-up to the new update, the company has released a patch update that had forcibly installed an app on a users computer without seeking permission. Few Windows 10 users have reported that they found an app which goes by the name “Photos Add-on” installed on their computer without any permission or notifications. What’s more confusing is, the app was also found on Windows Store but it doesn’t carry any proper description of what it does. Not only these, the app also claims to be supported on Xbox consoles, HoloLens and Windows Mobile. However, the app name is Photos Add-On, it could be possible that Microsoft will push future updates and features to Photos App through the add-on. Microsoft hasn’t released any official statement on the functionality of this update yet. So, what do you think about this? Share your views in the comment box below.
