Opera Touch is the latest proposal for the field of mobile systems and has one idea in mind: to use only one hand. The idea of Opera for this new browser is to ensure that it can be used in mobility and in a simple way. Unlike most existing proposals, the Opera Touch can be used with just one hand, especially thanks to the FAB (fast action button).

The browser that is used with one hand

This virtual button is at the centre of all the action and allows access to all areas of the Opera Touch. With it, we can navigate to any tab, to the settings or simply to reload a page or close the tab.

The search is natural in Opera Touch

The focus of this browser is on 3 main tabs. In it, we have access to the search, with Google being the choice, but also to be used with voice or with a simple QR code. We also have the integration with Flow, which is the synchronization with the PC, and where we can see the tabs that we passed to the browser of the smartphone. Finally, we have the navigation history, where we can consult or access pages that we have seen in the recent past and that we may want to revisit.

Flow is the perfect synchronization of Android

Something that Opera Touch also brings is a synchronization mechanism between Opera for PC and Opera of the smartphone. With it, we can continue browsing the Web in a fluid and uninterrupted way. We just have to give synchronization order. This is a mechanism that Opera wants to extend in its browsers and that can compete with the competition, only for its simplicity of configuration and mainly of use. Opera Touch has arrived and is now available for Android only. It will soon be extended to iOS. The concept around this browser brings again the simplicity of use to software that has been increasingly complicated to use. Everything is possible to control with only 1 hand.
