The Galaxy Note 7 had everything to be a sales success but turned out to be a misery for the South Korean company. After the first explosions were reported, the company then actually stopped selling this smartphone and started globally a replacement schedule. Late it was found that replaced so called “Safe” Galaxy Note 7 are also having problems and one of the patched phones exploded under an airplane. Looking after so many issues with Galaxy Note 7, company permanently suspend the production of its flagship device. The Korean Giant Samsung said on Thursday that it will give $100 in credit at “Carrier or retail outlets” to those customers who replaced their Galaxy Note 7 with any other “Samsung” Phone. If any user chooses to buy another smartphone from different brand then they will be credited $25 Samsung’s president and CEO Tim Baxter says in the statement “We appreciate the patience of our consumers, carrier and retail partners for carrying the burden during these challenging times, We are committed to doing everything we can to make this right” So, what you think about this marketing strategy from Samsung?
